I work as a stage hand assisting tour techs/roadies in various departments, backline , lighting, and audio ect. In 2022, i had the opportunity to work backline as assistant to Nigel Olssons drum technician Chris Sobchack, in Nashville, Tennessee, at Bridgestone Arena.
Upon meeting him for the first time. After going through all the details of how he wanted things to go while setting up and break down of Nigels drums throughout the show. He told me, " If all goes well and you dont break drop dent or damage any of my gear. And I am happy. You will get the coolest souvenir no one else here will get." After all the trucks were loaded, i was done for the night. Chris thanked me for the work i did. And presented me with this autographed drum head.
